The project coordinator, “Hope for Children” CRC Policy Center, and the project partners from 5 Southern European countries (Italy, Greece, Portugal, Spain and Cyprus), were to present the INTEGRA Mentoring and Integration Programme and the results regarding its implementation among professionals and the young care leavers in their own countries at the INTEGRA Transnational Conference on Multidisciplinary Mentorship to support the entrepreneurship of children in care and young care leavers scheduled initially to take place in Nicosia, Cyprus, on May 8th 2020. In line with the guidance from the World Health Organization and given the escalation of governmental measures everywhere in Europe against COVID-19, the level of uncertainty is such that prevents us of further planning, the event was cancelled.
Despite the restrictions to live public events, the project partners agree that it is really important to share the experiences gathered during the workshops, in which they have been applying the tools offered by the Mentoring Integration Program (MIP) as well as the Online Platform For Cooperation, the main products developed during the project, aimed at residential care professionals and other professionals who closely work with young people leaving care-systems to successfully support their social and professional integration.
You can register for free attendance of the #INTEGRAeu Webinar to learn about the programme tools and network of cooperation, and learn from the professionals implementing the programme.
